Prepare the way of the Lord

St John the Baptist Primary School is a Catholic school and therefore strives to fulfill its important role in the mission of the Church. All aspects of school life are centered on the person of Jesus Christ and His teachings.

We believe that through the relationships in our school environment, we provide an opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ.

We believe children learn best when:

§      they are in a happy, safe and stimulating environment and where learning is valued and affirmed. We strive to develop the whole person through the provision of a quality curriculum.

§         positive relationships exist among those involved in the learning process. The pastoral care and welfare is paramount.

§         there is a sense of belonging to the school, parish and wider community. We welcome involvement and interaction in the community life of the school.

§         there is a welcoming, aesthetically pleasing and functional environment that is resourced and managed. We cater for a range of learning, welfare and administrative needs.
